About us
Vasstun Gjestehus is beautifully situated in the Odda valley in Hardanger, only three hours away from Bergen by car.
We have a stunning view of waterfalls and the fjord and we’re a short distance away from the Hardangervidda and Folgefonna national parks. The guest house is a new, modern and stylish building, with a rich history and culture, and can also offer a great choice of experiences and activities.
We hope to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our guests will want to return again and again for more and new exciting experiences.

All our rooms boast a spectacular view facing ‘the valley of waterfalls’, Oddadalen, or the Hardanger fjord.
In collaboration with Odda camping we also offer accomodation in cabins. And for those of you who would like a more exotic way of sleeping, Hardanger Villmarksleir by the Sandvin lake can acommodate about 40 people in a lavvo; a typical Sami tent, or a gapahuk; traditional lean-to shelters.
In our garden we can offer a number of activities or walks to the beautiful Hovden area - we also have a large terrace on several levels, boasting a stunning view of the fjord and the Odda valley.
