Hiking

The Hardangerfjord region is an interesting destination to explore by foot and Vasstun Hotel is a good starting point to do so. Surrounded by the Hardangervidda national park to the east, Folgefonna national park to the west, Ullensvang and Hardanger to the north and the Odda ‘valley of the waterfalls’ to the south. You can hike in the mountains, around our neighboring lake or even on a glacier from June-Mid September.

Hiking and walking tours in Norway

Norway is a very popular destination for hikers because of its rough and unspoilt nature. The possibility to encounter people on your way is small so you’ll have an exclusive nature experience.

Hardangerfjord walking tours

You can explore some hikes on your own or guided by Vasstun Hotel’s activity company Opplev Odda, like hut-to-hut or day hikes in Hardangervidda National Park. If you are looking for a special experience with activities like biking and climbing integrated in your hike, than read more about our Himmelstigen to Trolltunga.
